It’s PI DAY!!!! 3.14. Also ironically, Einstein’s birthday. He would’ve been 146 today. RIP THE GOAT. Well, for us pizza lovers, we’re in luck. A holiday that revolves around pie and pizza pie. I heard there are some sweet deals going around if you can catch them.
Do you know how to find the circumference or area of a circle? Use pi. Do you know how to make yourself feel better after a long day? Use pie.
For many, this day may be insignificant, but we are a day out from the five-year anniversary of when the world shut down due to COVID-19. It is also raining heavy today in LA with a cold chill that feels antarctic. These things combined make THIS pie day a big deal.
Where were you five years ago? And where did you think you’d be five years from then? It’s perfect that on the half-decade anniversary of the wave of grim uncertainty that blanketed over us and has been irremovable, we have pi. At least we have daylight savings now, and it gets dark a bit later, because that combined with this Swish Alpian cold would have destroyed all the enthusiasm Los Angeles has for St. Patrick's Day, which is already thin.
We are ready to pull out some awesome shirts for St. Patty’s. How are you celebrating this slow creep towards spring?
